Modern Classic Kitchen Remodel
Kitchen Remodel
A once-cramped kitchen gets a fresh start with open flow, clever storage, and timeless style.
This thoughtfully reimagined kitchen blends modern functionality with classic design elements to create a space that feels open, bright, and effortlessly inviting. From the removal of a restrictive peninsula to the addition of a central island, every detail was designed to enhance flow, maximize storage, and reflect the homeowners’ vision for a more usable, stylish heart of the home.
Before
Here's a look at this space before the remodel.

This kitchen renovation aimed to create a brighter, more open space with improved functionality and a modern aesthetic. The original U-shaped kitchen with a closed peninsula was reconfigured into a more open layout featuring a central island and perimeter cabinetry. This enhanced circulation and allowed for multiple users to navigate the space comfortably.

Functionality was a key driver of the design. A range was replaced with a separate cooktop and double oven for increased efficiency.

A paneled refrigerator contributes to a seamless, cohesive look.

Corner cabinetry can often be inefficient, so rather than using a traditional lazy Susan or blind corner cabinet, we incorporated a "magic corner" storage solution. This system optimizes space and provides heavy-duty storage, ensuring full accessibility to the deep corner area.

Beyond the kitchen, the adjacent living area was updated for a more cohesive flow.

A former desk nook was transformed into a sleek bar area, complete with a custom-sized under-counter refrigerator and open shelving for a modern touch.
"I don't think we could have envisioned enjoying it and liking it as much as we do. We walk in, and I feel like we're walking into a new space - it really is a joy. We're super thankful we were able to connect with Pinnacle and walk through the process with them."

To enhance scale and proportion, the upper cabinets were raised by six inches but stopped short of the 10-foot ceiling, maintaining balance within the room’s dimensions.

The fireplace was refreshed by removing heavy floor-to-ceiling paneling, lowering the mantle for better TV placement, and incorporating an updated surround for a more contemporary feel.
